During his career, Mr. Malcolm has represented a wide variety of clients, from individuals to Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Malcolm focuses his practice on:

• commercial litigation;
• personal injury;
• construction law;
• contract litigation;
• employment law;
• other civil litigation matters;
• business transactions;
• U.S. - Canada disputes and transactions.

He also represents corporations and individuals involved in international transactions or disputes, particularly transactions between Canada and the United States, including NAFTA, securities, trade and immigration matters.

Mr. Malcolm gained his initial experience in criminal defense during law school, while working as a public defender in the district courts in Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, and Issaquah, WA. He won his first trial in Canada, while still a law student, after being appointed by the court to represent a person accused of an assault.

Mr. Malcolm gained his civil litigation experience primarily as an Associate with Davis Wright Tremaine LLP. He was also an attorney at a boutique litigation law firm and a mid-sized law firm in Seattle, Washington. Prior to law school, Mr. Malcolm owned a forestry business in British Columbia.
